5:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Visit both museum buildings to see
displays on Lincoln, Priestley Hardware,
Bureau County history. There will also
be a silent auction of historic books,
vintage Princeton postcards, and GAR
medals. Music will be performed from
7:00-8:00 in the Clark-Norris Home.
Refreshments served.
Admission: $10.00 per person

In honor of the Lincoln Bicentennial,
the Historical Society will be hosting a
festive celebration to commemorate
Abraham Lincoln’s attendance and speech
at a political rally in Princeton on
July 4, 1856. This is a family event
and free to the public.

Curt Johnson is a long time collector of
Kentucky rifles and has authored three
books on this subject. He will be
speaking about early firearms and their
role in society in the 1800s as pioneers
were settling the Midwestern and Western
states. Bring the family and learn
about our early history. Admission is
free.
